First, I’ll tell you that there was some fairly graphic sex, but not much. You can just skip over those pages if you choose because the rest of the book was a very nice love story. It was easy to get caught up in the joy of this book. The only hard part was putting it down to go to sleep! I’ve read several of Kait Nolan’s books & loved them all!

I read the original Camp series and was so excited that Kait was reviving and (slightly) reimagining her books to start a whole new stand-alone set. Aspen and Brooks have as much in common, sadly in this case, as they are different. The fact that she knows nothing about “sportsball” tickles my fancy (as does that phrase, one my oldest herself uses!)
Fake engagement, marriage, relationship tropes never were a favorite of mine until recently. They can be fraught with too much angst and misunderstandings. This one, though…total “chef’s kiss”. Ms. Nolan’s books are always a one-click buy for me…can’t wait to read book 3!
