Information Concerning Copyright Claims

As part of our mission to develop the most complete searchable index of video files legally posted on the Internet for promotional and other legal purposes, our search crawler continuously scans the Internet for new, legally posted video files. We are primarily an information location tool and maintain no editorial oversight over the links in our search index. We do not control third-party websites contained in our index. We are not a "file sharing" site, peer-to-peer or otherwise, and we do not support or endorse illegal copying of video.

Because we do not own or have editorial control over these third-party sites, it is possible that our index may link to video files posted without the copyright owner's authorization. We rely on copyright owners to protect their own rights by communicating with us. We will immediately remove links in response to valid notices of alleged infringement submitted under the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA). We encourage copyright owners to directly contact the third-party website hosting the infringing material.

The link in our website index points only to the location of the file hosted elsewhere. While we can and do delete links upon request, we cannot delete the infringing file itself, which is hosted by a third party. We recommend using our search engine to identify and contact the host to remove the infringing file before requesting us to remove the link.

Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA)

We respond immediately to clear notices of alleged copyright infringement. This page explains the information required in these notices. This procedure ensures submissions are straightforward and reduces fraudulent or unclear claims. The notice format below aligns with U.S. law (see U.S. Copyright Office), but we also respond to similar notices from other jurisdictions. Please consult a legal advisor before filing. Note that false claims may incur penalties, including costs and attorney's fees (more details).

  • A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on behalf of the owner.
