I have been provided with a review copy of Rescued by a Bad Boy from the author for an impartial review. This is the prequel to the Bad Boy Bakers series and this was just a great glimpse into some new characters lives that will eventually have a second chance romance so just be aware that this is not these characters complete story. It’s just a brief glimpse into their backstory and will not be a complete story. I just absolutely loved this brief glimpse into this new world. I immediately wanted more after turning the last page. I can’t wait to read the next book in this series.

Seriously a teaser when it’s touts as being a whole book. Anyway that being said it was well written. Good story line, but needs more of a hook to get me into getting anymore.

The story of Brax and Mia is so suspenseful and keeps you wondering what is next. Two people who deeply care about one another but hide their feelings towards each other until the time is right for them -- but is it. Brax is Mia's protector and his true feelings are kept at bay for as long as possible not knowing how she feels about him. Two kids from foster homes who learn that someone does care. I can't wait for the sequel to find out the truth about Mia and what will happen to their relationship.

Wow!! What a Prequel!! This is one I won’t need to review before reading Mia & Brax’s 2nd chance romance, Mixed Up With A Marine. This prequel story is powerful - explosive powerful - and so intense it’s burned into a forever place in my mind. Their backstory begins six years after they’ve met and supported each other in the foster care system, and on the eve of Mia’s 18th birthday, when she can legally put the system behind her. There’s so much more of their history that we don’t know, especially Mia’s situation that she cannot share with Brax. What we do learn in Rescued By A Bad Boy, is that they have loved each other deeply for many years despite their tender age. There’s so much potential for an HEA there. And April 8th can’t get here quick enough!! Luckily, we can get glimpses of grown-up Mia in Bring It On Home, and grown-up Brax in Come A Little Closer. I had to go back and look at both novels, meaning only to only skip to the parts where they appear; but they’re both such great stories that I ended up reading them completely through again! This is a quick read of first love and a glimpse of the darker side of the foster system. A story of being young, falling in love and Surviving. Mia and Brax both have secrete crush on each other and neither are willing to chance there only real friendship in the world. I loved Rescued by a Bad Boy! It is short & sweet, however spattered with heartache. It is the perfect introduction to a brand new series. The second chance romance is so much sweeter when you have already witnessed the first. Sooo looking forward to the rest of Brax and Mia’s story! .
