Tucker & Corinne!! Who would have thought! And that’s what made it beautiful to read their story!! Tucker is such a sweetheart!! I’m so glad I got a chance to know about both Corinne and Tucker through this one. Kait Nolan does it again, creates characters as if you know them, and I laugh and cry and yell with them!! Master story teller!!

Corrine and Tucker seem like the an old couple but Tucker has waited for his chance too long. Corrine has her demons and her responsibilities but is determined to be a good mother to her soon. Abuse, bad mistakes and guilt seem to follow her. Tucker is that one of a kind amazing guy. You will cheer for them and cry for them.

This was my 1st book written by Kaitlin Nolan, but I’m sure it won’t be my last. The characters are well written & have some deep seated issues that need to be worked through. About my only real complaint was that the big event near the end of the book, that led to the main character, Corrine, realizing that she was worthy of being loved, was barely a blip in the book. She saved her childhood friend from her abusive husband, but there was no kind of follow up to that storyline at all. This was Corrine’s big ah ha moment of self realization & then, nothing. I found that to be very distracting. The sex scenes were not completely over the top, but I prefer to let my own imagination complete that . All in all though, I did enjoy this book.
