Visiting Wishful is always a delight, taking the journey with Rowan Beale on her personal nightmare, finding support and respect in Nash fulfilled the promise I've come to expect in Kait's stories. Watch Over Me had me hooked from beginning to end. Rowan's strength and determination never waiver. Love a happy ending. Can't wait for the next installment.

Loved this book. Kait Nolan always delivers. My new favorite author. I have gotten caught up in the characters and enjoy reading about them all. Nash and Rowan are great together.

I received an advanced reader copy in exchange for an honest review. Kait Nolan is one of my favorite authors and Watch Over Me is another great read that reenforces that opinion. It’s a short read, but the characters are well defined and relatable. I love that this is a continuation of a series, so you get little things that tie it into the rest of the series. At the same time, it is still a stand alone novel. I am betting that once you read Watch Over Me, you will want to read the rest of the series! The suspense is fun and adds another layer to the plot.

Watch Over Me is book 2 in Wishing for a Hero series by Kaitlin Nolan and is another well written, suspenseful, page turner book!

Rowen Beale is a police officer in Houston and after her partner is killed she accuses another officer as being a "dirty cop" but of course IA thinks she is suffering from PTSD and she has to a get help before she is released back to work. Little does she know that a lot of people are working against her and facilitating the PTSD, which she may not be suffering from...so when her great uncle suffers a heart attack she decides to take leave and take care of him but trouble follows her back home.

Nash Brewer, a retired Navy pilot, part time reserve officer and a caring neighbor for Rowen's uncle meets Rowen again and the attraction he felt for her from before is still there. He is determined to pursue her but she is determined to get her life back and return to Houston as a police officer with no attachments to anyone. That is until trouble comes to town that she thought was only in Houston..will she let Nash help her discover who is behind her troubles and bring them to justice, show her she belongs in town and with him forever or will she just let the bad guys win and lose the one thing she has always wanted..to be a police officer??

Rowan is a strong, female cop in a male dominated profession. She has a hard time leaning on others because she doesn't want to seem weak. After an unfortunate incident that claimed the life of her partner, Rowan is in desperate need of some time off. She travels to Wishful to care for her uncle who has just had heart surgery. While caring for him she is reunited with Nash, whom she met during a previous visit. Nash helps her to realize she can have allies without being weak.

A manly man and a strong female...

Every girl wants the manly man who can fly a plane and protect her when she needs it, but not every damsel in distress needs rescuing! This book had a strong male lead character (Nash) while allowing the female lead (Rowan) to have a strong personality and job. This was a great book for female empowerment in the 21st century while still allowing the female to be vulnerable enough to fall in love. Nash and Rowan were a perfect match, just waiting for the right timing!

Exciting and suspenseful

WOW! I love Kait Nolan books. Watch Over Me is another exciting well written beautiful story. Rowan comes back to Wishful to assist her uncle Robert, after a heart surgery. She left Houston after her partner is shot and she has been placed on desk duty waiting for the police psychologist to approve her returning to active duty. Waiting for approval she is being harassed by someone in the police department. Nash a neighbor and works part time in the Wishful police department flys to Houston to fly her back to Wishful and her uncle.This book is fast moving and suspenseful when the harassment follows her the Wishful. Love the support and belief Nash gives to both Rowan and her Uncle Robert! I thoroughly enjoyed reading the story of Rowan and And hand you will enjoy reading it and love the town of Wishful. I highly recommend reading it!

Romance, suspense, hero, oh my

Kait delivers again, another must read wishful romance. Rowan and Nash story is more than a light hearted romance, with a bit of suspense mixed in, which was intriguing . Loved the uncle. My only problem with novella are they’re too short. I love kait’s books and have read almost all of them. Can't wait for the next one.
