A hot, sexy, beautiful addition to the series. East and Lark’s journey to forever was poignant and emotional. They had so much emotional baggage to overcome individually plus with each other. It was worth the risk to have a forever home. Good work Carrie Ann. Until next time y’all happy reading.

We finally get East Wilder’s story and it was so worth the wait! Known as the grumpy Wilder, East has struggled with PTSD but keeps it to himself until he no longer can hide it. It gets more complicated when Lark is back in his life and when he stops denying the attraction between them it brings the emotions he’s been hiding up front. Will they be able to find their HEA as the rollercoaster of emotions hits him? One click to find in this newest addition that doesn’t disappoint. I love all the emotions that brings the characters alive with all the heat level, danger and suspense throughout the storyline.
He better get help before he pushes her away for good!

This is book 5 in The Wilder Brothers series and it features East and Lark. It was only supposed to be one night but their chemistry is so powerful that they continue to feel that pull towards each other. East fights it so hard. He’s so rude to her, I don’t know why she just doesn’t walk away. They both have their issues that need to be dealt with but East’s PTSD, from his time in the military, is interfering with his daily life. He needs help before he pushes her away for good.

I love these Wilder brothers and their women that tame them! It’s always great to see characters from previous books so involved in the current book. I can’t wait for the next Wilder to fall!
East and Lark’s story…wonderful!

Whew! East Wilder has been the moody, growly Wilder…and with his story, we learn a lot more about why.

Adding Lark Thornbird, singer and songwriter, into the mix…well…there’s a lot of emotional highs and lows going on. Are they truly enemies? Can they fight their attraction to one another? Can they get beyond the pain?

Both Lark and East feel so much. While their story is filled with emotion, it is also heartwarming. Plus, catching up on the other brothers and their wives/significant others is entertaining, too!

Oh these Wilders are so good at keeping you on your toes, driving you a little batty, and stressing you out a bit. Also at stealing your heart and breaking it in more ways than one. But you just can’t get enough of them. East is the grumpiest of the Wilder men, but somehow Lark still finds a way to find his soft spot. Though he’s going through a lot, and there are definitely some moments that have you on edge. And that ending! Let’s just say, I spoke my piece lol. Thankfully, we get another book soon!

East is tortured and punishes himself for a past he had no control over and Lark hides behind her music and rumors that others spread. Their chemistry is off the charts and they are unable to hide the attraction from their friends and family. An outside force places them both in danger and East needs to keep her safe, however leaving her shatters them both. I loved these two, and I’m always happy to get updates on the rest of the family.

I loved the sweet soulful song lyrics at the beginning of each chapter. For a big time singer Lark is unassuming and a giving person, I would love to have her for my bestie. East has PTSD, survivor’s guilt, and thinks he has to be alone the rest of his life. But, he can be a distraction for Lark for a while. Though these two have real baggage it doesn’t weigh the story down. This couple together make you hopeful as they bring out the best in each other. Angst runs high and a baddie comes out of nowhere making this sexy read worth staying up past your bedtime.
