Chapter 6

The moon had shrunken and she was almost back home. she traveled along the river and that led her to the gorge where she turned and proceeded to travel up the mountains. Another night, closer. Another night, even closer, until finally, she arrived at the camp. She took in a deep breath, and walked into the camp head and tail high. Gasps broke the silence in the clearing, she guessed they were still mourning her. Her mate Dovesong looked extra surprised when she came trotting into the camp. She ran up to her mate and nuzzled her affectionately before greeting the old as ever looking Tumblestar and went to stand in the center of the clearing. By the looks of it they were in the middle of a meeting. Even better, Copperfang thought. “Cats of Duneclan!” She shouted from the clearing. She suddenly remembered something she had seen before she was thrown into the gorge. Her last moments of consciousness before she woke up in the rapids, Coyotespots gripping her scruff, then suddenly… letting go. “Coyotespots, are you going to come clean to the clan? Or do I have to do it for you?” She accused. “I-I.. yes. I murdered Quailheart’s kits, and I made an attempt at killing you Copperfang, I put my own apprentice in danger.. but what are you gonna do about it huh? He mocked. Then suddenly a half choking half gasping sound alerted her and the clan, Tumblestar lay on the ground behind her blood pooling from a wound in his neck. The blood stained the tall rock behind her and she gagged at the retched smell of blood. The smell was horrible. But she was more concerned that Tumblestar, was dead.

The wind rustled her fur as she led her patrol in the dark toward Shadowclan territory. Up ahead, she hears the gurgling of a stream that takes her back to when her kit died. She shakes herself. She had to focus not only her life, but all the cats in her clan’s life could depend on it. The air was warm and somewhat humid, which made the others slump in their walk but Nightfall stayed steadily alert. The border was in sight when a cat emerged from the trees. Lionwing oddly lept to Nightfall’s side, and gave her a reassuring nod. “This is a friend. He is neutral when it comes to the clans, he means no harm and could possibly help us.” Nightfall bristled. “So you’re friends with a rouge?” She said, a disgusted look on her face. She honestly thought better of Lionwing. “I prefer loner if you don’t mind.” The strange cat meowed calmly. He was big and burly, but looked well-groomed like a kittypet. It only made Nightfall more suspicious. “Be nice, Nightfall.” Lionwing teased playfully. “Like I said. He’s neutral. Although, I hope he chooses to help us.” The loner nodded.
“What’s your name?” Sagepaw piped up with a friendly edge to her voice. Songbird was just stepping into the shadows as if to flee. “Burgundy.” The liner meowed in a polite tone. What a strange and suspicious name. What does it mean? “My housefolk called me by it before I ran away. Wasn’t a big fan of the pampered life.” Although, he groomed himself as if he was a big fan of the pampered life. Nightfall didn’t like this Burgundy in the slightest. “A former kittypet?” Songbird asked, showing herself. She was once a kittypet, so it was sort of relieving for her to find a cat to relate to. “Former, yes. But that was many seasons ago.” The Tom-cat stared wistfully into the clouds. He looked young enough, but he acted as if he were as old as Starclan. Nightfall shook herself. “Well, nice to meet you… er, Burgundy. But we have some urgent needs to attend to.” Nightfall began to retreat when Lionwing gently tugged her tail back. Nightfall sat with a huff and all Lionwing felt was amusement. “I would love to assist you if you wish.” He said, almost pleadingly. Lionwing gazed at Nightfall with glowing eyes as if he were pleading too. The dazzle of the golden in her old mate’s eyes made her feel warm inside, but she shoved it down and put her cold bitterness back in place. “Tag Q if you must, but your help is not necessary.” And just like that, Burgundy was apart of the group. His eyes shined with excitement and Nightfall led the patrol to the Shadowclan boarder. She cursed Starclan for the millionth time that she still loved Lionwing.

Olivegaze is a small blue gray Tom who had escaped from Wolftrots murder group. He mated with a she-cat named larchstep and they have had two she-cats, longpaw and brokenpaw, longpaw is training as a Medicine cat and brokenpaw as a warrior. Longpaw is disabled. Her hind legs don’t work and are paralyzed. She lost them as a kit when a big stick fell onto her killing her brother- snailkit. Olivegaze will lose every cat he loves for betraying Wolftrot. Now for a sneak peak at… OLIVEGAZES CHOICE!!!

Proulge:

Magpiestar screeched in pain as the stick splintered apart in her teeth. Her last kit was born. “It’s a Tom!” Softpaw mewed. “You can come in gingerfoot! Your a father!” Gingerfoot raced over to his mate and curled around her. “There’s blood everywhere…” softpaw murmured. “What’s wrong?” Gingerfoot asked looking at the exhausted leader. Blood was pooling out of her. Her three kits mewled. “It’s…my time…Gingerfoot…I’m going to…join star…clan…” Magpiestar rasped. “Let’s name…them…now…” Gingerfoot nodded sobbing. “Olivekit for the blue gray Tom… talonkit for the brown she-cat… and Turtlekit for the tortishell Tom…” she nodded. “I love you my kits… and you Gingerfoot…” Magpiestar passed away later that night. Olivekit was raised by a queen named roseberry. Her mate- Angerflame- hurt Olivekit. All this happened while she watched from starclan. She hoped that this would stop. Until one day… wolfkit was born.

She was an abondened kitten and her parents left her on the side of the thunder path and then she found skyclan and hoped they’d let her in.

<Darkfall of Au Skyclan>

First of all, although it doesn’t matter, there’s two Dark prefixes in SkyClan, although ones a kit, and the other is (possibly) a senior warrior, just a thing I wanted to tell yah so ya know!
To Galaxyskies: I didn’t mean to burst your “Darkroot” bubble. I just thought, since Darkkit hasn’t exactly been, y’know, talked about, we don’t know his warrior name. Now if we knew it, I would be all that concerned, but there is also a YOUNG warrior named Darkstorm…so…
