I so love this spin off series about Cletus and Jenn. This is a couple that is so underestimated by most folks has a love that outshines everything!

This story picks up with Cletus and Jenn finally celebrating their engagement. And what a party it is. Mayhem ensues and a new mystery needs to be solved.

Cletus has got to be one of the most fascinating characters I have ever read. His quirkiness, and his love for Jenn is just inspiring and the talent of Ms. Reid to be able to create such a unique hero is just a testament to her writing talent.

I love how past characters make appearances, but they don't overshine the main plot of the story, they just add to it.

This story is full of mystery, love, charm and swoons. Oh and as the title says, marriage! But I am not going to spoil it for you.

Another stellar story from the great mind of Penny Reid, get your hands on it!

If you haven’t already, and I truly don’t know how if you’ve read previous books, you will fall head over heals in love with Cletus. This book is so romantic with some great steamy parts. There happens to be murders, suspense and several mysterious solved too. And you get to visit with some well loved characters from Green Valley. I can’t possibly describe how I felt reading this book except to say it left me with alll the feels I get from reading a really great book. I can’t stop thinking about it.

Ok, so complete honesty here. I own every Winston Brother book Penny Reid has written, along with a bunch of other books she’s written. Met her a few times, totally love her!! But I have not read a full book by her in all this time. Bonus scenes (silly I know), and things like that, but had not been able to read the full book yet. Then this literally fell in my lap (or email lol). And I could not say no. Or put it down. I know I should not have read this first, and I know I will most definitely have to go back & read or listen to all the Winstons. And there was an order to this I saw to read. But I couldn’t resist. And I’m so glad I didn’t resist! COMPLETELY in love with this!! And Cletus?! Oh my goodness, I love him. I love how his mind works. And how much he loves her 😍 And Jenn is so sweet and so good and just is perfect for him. And a murder mystery? Well, I completely dig that too. Totally ecstatic with it all. I was actually yelling in my classroom during my break at one point, it pulls you in that much. This is a must!! And I cannot wait to read all the rest!!

Marriage and Murder is the second Cletus and Jenn cozy mystery. We get to hang out with the Winstons while Cletus tries to get Jenn to the altar amidst murder, mystery and mayhem.

“That's right. Just relax. Everything has been done. You don't need to do a single thing but show up and smile.”
“I am not accustomed to sitting back and enjoying myself. Nor smiling.”

The first book in this series brought swoony romance to the mystery mix. M&M has that swoon but I love the way this book kicks the heat up a few notches.

Sweet, heat, swoon and a suspenseful storyline, this story pulled me right in and kept me entertained and guessing throughout.
