Fun, refreshing romantic comedy

I LOVE everything by Susan Mallery and You Say It First is certainly no exception. The first book in the Happily, Inc. Series does not disappoint. It has all of the feels, wit, charm and romance we've come to love from Mallery. Along with fantastic characters and a great legend of how the town was started. There are even references from Fools Gold. I loved this refreshing, fun, romantic comedy that is only the beginning of what's to come for Happily Inc.

"You say it First" is #1 in a brand new series, Happily Inc. It is a great read to kick off the series. i was sad when the Fool's Gold series finally came to an end, but Happily Inc. has undertones of the latter, such as quirky, lovable, characters and a giraffe. I loved Nick and Pallas and the dynamics of their relationship. A definite page turner that I did not want to end. Well done, well done, Susan Mallery!

Happily Inc reminds me so much of Fools Gold, Susan brings in things and people from Fools Gold but it is freshing to have new characters to explore. Pallas and Nick both don't live up to their parents expectations but are both happy and satisfied in their lives. Nick pushes Pallas to leave her comfort zone a little but and take some risks which helps her grow as well as their relationship. I can't wait to see what else happens in Happily Inc!

This is the first book in the Happily, Inc series. It takes the three Mitchell brothers in a new setting. Nick meets Pallas when he interviews for a job as a part time carpenter. She immediately has him dressing in a toga and putting on a fake tan. This starts slowly, but eventually ends as a typical romance. But both bring out wonderful qualities in each other.

A very cute and light read. If you like the Fools Gold series this is a fun, comfortable continuation in a different town.

I loved this first book in the Happily, Inc series. It's classic Susan Mallery, but I think gets deeper into family issues. It ties back to Fools Gold through the Mitchell family, but being a destination wedding town gives it a whole new twist. And then there's the game preserve and Millie the giraffe!

You Say It First by Susan Mallery introduces us to the town of Happily Inc located in the Nevada desert. We are introduced to this town through Nick a transplant from Fools Gold, CA. Nick meets Pallas when he interviews to work for her at her wedding destination company. Nick doesn't believe in long term relationships and Pallas isn't sure she wants a relationship at all, in spite of this these two find themselves drawn to each other. Will they over come their preconceived notions on love and relationships and find a way to be together?
I loved the Fools Gold series and was sad to see it go, but I am happy to see the Happily Inc is here. While a different town, it has it's own charms and distinct personality. If you are a fan of Mallery's work and the Fools Gold series in particular you will enjoy this book. I personally cannot wait for the next book in this series!

The Queen of destination books has done it again. Welcome to Happily Inc, a desert town known for weddings with an eclectic mixture of characters. You Say It First is the story of sculptor Nick Mitchell (of the Fool's Gold Mitchells) and wedding venue owner Pallas Saunders; both have family demons to deal with, along with life questions. As a fan of Susan Mallery's Fool's Gold series I was excited to read her new series and I wasn't disappointed. It's nice to know when you start a book that you will see the characters again in future books as each one gets their own story. I can't wait to read more about Happily Inc.

I was a bit sad when the Fools Gold Series came to a close. I felt it was a sweet little sleepy town - with tons of festivals - that I could actually live in were it not fictional. Well, I honestly think Ms Mallory has captured me with this first book in the new Happily Inc series!! The characters are perfect, Weddings in a Box! So creative!!! Read the book, I promise you are sure to enjoy it!
