Very contemporary "A Million Little Things" happen everyday in our lives that change us, annoy us, reward us or simply prevent us from taking a moment to see how truly strong and wonderful we are, as women. This book explores women and the men in or around their ever evolving world. Our excuses and motivators are questioned in a very modern approach.

In the end exploring mothers, sisters, lovers, and friends through our heroines, Zoe, Jen and Pam, motivates us to think, while being delightfully entertained in turning each page of this lovely story of three. The writing is clean and the images are crisp. The best part truly was the varied reactions from each on the same issues. So true to so many of our families and relationships. Each is valued and distinct. Emotions, reactions and words can unite us or divide us. Loved going on this journey with these ladies. Hope you do too!
Wonderful story of love and friendship

A Million Little Things takes us back to Mischief Bay, CA. We get catch up Pam and her daughter Jen, and we meet Jen's friend Zoe. All three of these women are facing new issues in their lives. We join these three as they deal with love, family, careers, and friendship. Will they make it through to the other end by helping each other and reaching inside themselves?
This is a great story full of love, humor, joy, sadness and most importantly friendship.
You do not need to have read past Mischief Bay books to enjoy this book, Mallery gives enough background for a new reader to jump right in. I loved this book and had a really hard time putting it down. Fans of Mallery's work will will love this as well. Please do note I was given a free copy of this book for an honest review.
Good Read with Many Surprises

I enjoyed the book. I realized I am the same age as Pam, but could relate to all the female characters. I thought I knew what would happen between the characters, but was surprised by the unexpected twists and turns. All these twists and turns in the storyline kept me involved and intrigued in the outcome and made me want to read faster, so i could see what was going to happen. I am sad that I finished. I am ready to move to Mischief Bay.
A great tale of friendships and love

I love reading Susan Mallery's stories because they contain it all: love, friendships, real life. What mother hasn't obsessed about their child at one point or another? In this book you see that happen at different levels: a parent and small child, a parent and an adult child. Life has struggles and Susan tells a compelling tale including those struggles, she writes things we can all relate to at some point.

I love the different stages of love & friendship Ms Mallory weaves in her stories and A Million Little Things did not let me down. Zoe's character at times made me laugh and cry! Strongly recommend this for anyone whether they've read the Girls of Mischief Bay or not. But if you haven't, you should!

This book is a good reminder that you can't live anyone else's life. If you are a true friend you need to be there to support your friends and family. Nice read.

Great story of 3 women dealing with making changes to their lives. Zoe is moving forward when a life changing event happens and makes her question everything. Jen is obsessed with her baby but some tough words make her realize some changes need to be made. And Pam,having to learn about acceptance and new possibilities. Three very interesting characters with depth and vulnerability. A great read!

A great book by a great author. I loved reading this book! I started it yesterday and finished it today. It was great! The books talks about real world problems that everyone has gone through or someone in their family has gone through. Susan Mallery knows how to write a great book. I have always been a romance reader and I was really skeptical about the Mischief Bay books because I would not really consider them romance but they really drew me in. All of the Mischief Bay books have been good and I look forward to more!

A book that tells about friendship. parenting. and finding out you are pregnant and how it affects you and your family and friends.

Zoe has finally realized the boyfriend she had invested 5 years of her life with just isn't the man for her. breaks up and starts dating Steven, who is Pam's son. Zoe finds out she is pregnant with her ex boyfriends baby, she talks with Steven and they decide to keep dating and fall in love.
Pam is a widow who loves her children. she has finally started dating after her husband died suddenly, she is dating Miguel who is Zoe's dad, she reacts badly to Zoe finding out she is pregnant by her former boyfriend. and Jen who is a new mom making lots of mistakes, but learns from them through help by Lucas which is her husbands partner on the police force. I really enjoyed reading this book and seeing how the characters developed. it was a great book. I recommend it to anyone looking for a book, it is a good romance that has complex characters. I really love Susan Mallery's writing style. (review crew)
