I give this book 10 stars! Romance is blooming no has blossomed between Fortune and Carter. Now we will add that someone has tried to kill Carter and he is saved by Fortune and the ladies. The action doesn’t end there because as Fortune puts it no one will harm my man! The mystery has new characters and part involves Fortune ‘s past. That will not stop the ladies as they will get their man. As the plot thickens other characters will come to light. Carter ‘s mother will show up, Walter is deep in the story as Carter is his nephew.
There are twists to the story I did not expect but makes perfect sense. Saving the ladies will come from an unexpected source but a perfect one!
Keep reading as the stories are just getting better and more interesting as the series continues!

I enjoyed the whole series but this one became "fresh" again. Very well written and the interaction of the characters made them come to life. Wish there was another, I would start reading it right now.
