Good Book

This book has a lot of heart.Its very engaging from the start and it finally lets the reader know that even big corporations sometimes loses in the end.

Predictable plot and no engaging characters

Hard to put down.

This story is similar to happenings on Hilton Head Island where the Gullah people had once established a small community. It too has long passed but has lately become a monument to those descendants who still populate the area. Although different in many aspects from the past Grisham novels, I thought it one of the his better ones.

Good read a little different for Grisham but still liked it

All three books in this series were great reads, I am looking forward to the next book in this series

Horrors of slavery and survival on an island in defiance of their situation. The story is set in Florida and includes several of Grisham’s memorable characters who join to save and restore an island from developers and to honor the survivors.

Interesting story but not one of his best.
