One whole story packed in 13 short chapters. Interesting in that. I’m sure this happens more often than we know and that’s sad. We are used to seeing justice, served. But this seems very timely. Now as justice is a thing of the past. Our judicial system decides the fate of everyone on their own terms, or the terms of whoever is paying them. The constitution is no more the rules by which they should be governing. All in all the writing was good and put everything in perspective.

John Grisham is a favorite author. I enjoyed the book. I just wanted more. The plot was believable. I think the characters and story line could have been more developed. It just seemed like when a teacher tells you to take out fluff words in poetry. It was pared down to bare minimum.

Slow to start my curiosity but the end has me needing to know more.

This prequel to John Grisham's, The Whistler, is the tickler to rush to the novel. A great descriptive to the cast of characters.

Short but a good read , as usual with Grissom a page turner .

Has the world gone mad? Paying $0.99 to read twenty-three pages of a book not yet in print???

Grisham never disappoints and he doesn’t here.

So excited for the whistler to come out this month. This was a great start and no I cannot wait!!!!
