Here, dinosaurs and Neanderthals live alongside winged humanlike hunters. To survive the nightmare trials ahead, enemies must join forces. From the first page to the last, The Land That Time Forgot is a gripping read full of unexpected twists and heart-stopping danger that will appeal to anyone who loves action-packed adventure stories.

Like most classics there’s some dated stuff, lots of the beginning is sailing terminology and such and there’s a big emphasis on the war (I.e. Germans are evil!) as well as a focus on religion at times but overall it’s an interesting story. Can’t go wrong with a mysterious island with creatures running amok after all

Maybe I'm just not used to it, but I thought that the story was a little far-fetched and patched toghether. The book turns around completely about half-way through: the matter of the "land that time forgot" has nothing to do with the sailors—might as well be two different books.
Enjoyable classic read

I liked this book! I feel like the beginning was a bit slow with all the talk of boats and what kinds and whatnot, but I really enjoyed reading about the island and the happenings there. I was also thrilled to learn about the movie and look forward to watching it. I love dinosaur anything and although this isn’t my usual kind of read, I’m glad I stuck through with it especially because I like how the book ended.

A great book which captures the numerous adventures of people who were lost at sea , leading them to a world of the Stone Age era and early primates beyond human civilization . It portrays instances of love , loyalty, betrayal , adaptation and survival.

I have to say the last time I read a book was eighth grade like actually read a book. This was an amazing read and easily digestible for my reading level. What a great book amazing story amazing resolution. Classic through generations for a reason
