Description

Yesterday he was the handsome stranger who made her dizzy from desire. Today, she discovers he's her mysterious new boss.

Dr. Ross discovers that the stranger she briefly connected with the other day is not only a top surgeon at her hospital but also her new boss. Now everyone wants to know who Dr. Jake Sparrow is and which part of heaven the hot doctor fell from.

However, Dr. Ross knows that if she's wise, she'll keep her distance from Jake Sparrow—if that's even his real name. She has a bad habit of attracting and falling for the wrong man, and that's exactly whom the secretive doctor seems to be.

Yet at times, she catches him staring at her from across a crowded room, and when their eyes meet, her heart races like the wind. According to the chief, he's one of the world's most brilliant neurosurgeons. Then why hasn't she ever heard of him? Also, she's supposed to be learning from the "good" doctor, but he refuses to let her scrub in on his surgeries.

Even though Dr. Sparrow is a grump and a jerk, Dr. Ross finds it increasingly hard to resist his seductive ways. Then, one day, he surprises her with an offer she should refuse, but doesn't.

Now, they're trapped in forced proximity, drawing them deeper into each other's allure. Will their sparks ignite into flames, or will Dr. Sparrow's twisted secret unexpectedly come back to haunt them both?

Seduction is book one of The Secret Billionaire Asher Blackstone duet. The addictive tropes include enemies-to-lovers, close-proximity bonding, a billionaire in disguise, and passionate romance with a suspenseful plot.

Only read because it was free. Didn’t purchase part two. That tells you something.
Cliffhanger

I was intrigued with this story and disappointed that it’s a cliffhanger. This is a love story between a neurosurgeon and his intern. The sex is hot and the secret is heartbreaking. The cliffhanger stops when there’s suspicions that they may be siblings. Good story but messed up ending. I am not reading the next book. Too sickening for my romantic heart.

Very interesting! A little unrealistic. Great characters and the story-line was intriguing. I want to find out more about this couple. I highly recommend! I give it 4 1/2 stars

I enjoyed the book but don’t like how it abruptly ends. Not a fan of these kind of books. This book is well written, sometimes too sexual, but the characters are very interesting.

I received an ARC copy for an honest review. It is interesting how Z. L. Arkadie has developed the Christmas siblings since book 1 “Intrigued “. I am grateful that they have expanded beyond the characters she first introduced us to. Jake aka Asher has become a doctor with a kind heart. As with all the Christmas children he wants to forge his own identity. I look forward to the next book where I’m sure we will experience the other Christmas siblings assisting in the public merging of Jake and Asher. Just like his brothers Jasper and Spencer, Asher knows love when he finds it in Penina Ross. The secrets of her family may hold the destruction of their relationship. Looking forward to the book. Thank you Z.L. For bringing the Christmas siblings to life.
