In the first place, “scouts” is a term used by someone who is not acquainted with the trade. The correct term is “pickers”. I should know because I was one of the best. I picked in the early days before anyone heard of “The Road Show and the Keno brothers. The first time I heard about Cadillac Jack it was from my good friends who told me they had found a book about me. Women and objects have been my obsession. I liked the story but it Petered out right in the middle with an unbelievable and boring ending-like the author just got tired and didn’t have the energy to complete the story.
