ps, i still love maven <3 but anyways, maven branding his initial onto mare, and those letters to her- and making her wear a collar, like- there was a very slow start tho.
The evolution of Mare and Cal continues

We see Mare appear to separate herself emotionally from everyone as Cal tries to get closer to her. A relationship between two other characters comes to an abrupt and heartbreaking halt. And we have an ending that brings us to our knees. This is an outstanding sequel to the Red Queen.

Red queen was the best of the books so far but I am only in kings cage, the books seem to get more dramatic and more into cal and mares romance, I will recommend if you want a book with a action and romance. Their is a lot of plot twist that really annoy me but it’s a book and needs to keep moving so it’s unpredictable in some cases. I have fallen in love with the series and recommend to teenagers if they will like to read something to keep them up at night.
