I downloaded this book after viewing the sample (it was in English) yet somehow it downloaded in German. Love this series, but rating a 1 because I am not able to read it in German.

This author is obsessed with transgenders. 2/2 books the bad guy is one. Weird.

I did not want to put this book down!! Loved the characters and can’t wait to follow Amos Decker in the series!

Good read. All elements of a good thriller murder mystery.

Baldacci does an incredible job describing difficult human behaviors and conditions, including terror as if you’re in the crime scene and yet at the same time giving the reader an understanding of complex, human conditions /situations not often discussed in book or in life. An amazing story, you can’t put it down.
