Curated by the MLA Committee on the Literatures of People of Color in the United States and Canada, the section includes an introduction by Ifeoma Kiddoe Nwankwo and Richard T. Rodríguez; articles by Frances R. Aparicio, Robert Warrior, and Dana A. Williams; and a conclusion by Doug Steward. The issue's four other essays cover a variety of topics. Disability and access in higher education is the subject of a collaborative article by Brenda Jo Brueggemann, Jay Dolmage, Rosemarie Garland-Thomson, Susan Ghiaciuc, Stephanie L. Kerschbaum, Craig A. Meyer, Sushil K. Oswal, Margaret Price, Ellen Samuels, and Amy Vidali. Rogelio Miñana writes about a curricular experiment; superliteracy and doctoral programs are the focus of Joseph R.
