    My Hunger by Lisa Renee Jones is a novella in her phenomenal Inside Out series. This short tale is about Mark, the gallery owner and Crystal, an employee of the Riptide gallery in New York.

    We met Mark when Sara did and he was charming, charismatic and intimidating. more so once we learned of his ownership of the BDSM club and his role in Rebecca's lives through the diaries Sara found.

    The Mark we see in this story is a different man. Heartbroken over Rebecca's murder at Ava's hands and worried about his mother and her recent cancer diagnosis and surgery, he is losing himself and who he's had to be for the past decade. Crystal is NOT a submissive woman by any means and yet there is a draw to her he cannot resist.

    This is a phenomenal series and this novella was a perfect insight into Mark's mindset and motivations.

    Oh I am loving finding out more about Mark Compton! I admit once again that I really did not like him in the series until his first novella came out and we got inside his head. This gave us even more of his thoughts and feelings....feelings he fights so hard not to have. Love this! Really cannot wait to see where the series takes Mark.

    WOW...Mark's POV! This series drew me in from the beginning and the pull just keeps getting stronger & stronger! Ms. Jones continues to amaze me with her wit and her ability to weave a story into the readers mind like no other!

    The control Mark loves so much to have but without it, he doesn't seem to know how to handle himself. However, Crystal seems to center him in a way that he can't or doesn't know how to accept. And she doesn't even realize that the control, "his control", is now in her hands! Will they be able to control their "out of control" feelings for one another and survive the hell that is upon them!?

    Thank you Lisa Renee Jones for this riveting story, I can't wait to find out what you have in store for us in your next book...No In Between!

    This just basically could have been put in the book before this (The Master Undone).This book just has some more details about crystal and Marks still being tormented about Rebecca.Lets you see his mother & father her after surgery.Nothing really new to me.Its suppose to shed more light on Mark & Crystal whom you don't get a backstory about her in the new book (No In Bewteen).I just felt this was a repeat of The Master Undone.Short & sweet.Some sex not a lot but Mark is getting feelings for Crystal so I see a future book to come.More crystal & Mark falling in love.There's teaser in this book for Crystals's POV .Have to wait and see about it.
