Lurking in the Gene Pool

LURKING IN THE GENE POOL is the fourth annual anthology published by Three Cousins publishing. Twenty-two stories of horror, science fiction, fantasy, mystery, and humor explore the theme. You can pick your friends, but you can't pick your family. Sometimes family must be protected, but sometimes family is the threat.

It's been said that all happy families are alike, but all unhappy families are unhappy  in their own way. Sometimes one of the family members is different, special if you will. The monster doesn't always hide under the bed. Sometimes the monster fixes breakfast, sometimes it sleeps down the hall, and sometimes the monster is inside you. Being different, being special, doesn't always mean being monstrous, but it always means having the potential. Herein are twenty-tales about families with a someone who's just a little different, a little special, and always dangerous; sometimes to anyone who threatens the family, but sometimes to the family itself.
