Always a sweet ride reading these books! This book was cleverly crafted for maximum effect, couldn’t put it down!

I only wish there was more emotion in the ending and the interaction with Magdalena after all the history . A little anticlimactic in comparison to other endings in the series. Still a great read!

I have always enjoyed these story lines; I enjoy working the cases with Eve, Peabody and Roark along with the cat. Looking forward to the next book that is coming out in September ☺️
