Passionate, fast paced, heart wrenching. Very well written with a good twist or two along the way especially the epilogue. The audio book version was excellent also. If you liked ACOTAR and Fourth Wing you will love this.

Good read, surprising plot twists. World building was good, but confusing at times. A little forced with the diction. Looking forward to the storyline in the sequel.

First 150 pages are a bit painful- there's little context to the barrage of fantasy words and it's hard to track what's going on. After that it catches a stride and tells a complex story that you can rip through. Looking forward to the next book!

Sarah has an imagination second to none and paints a world like no other. She exercises your mind and emotions in every paragraph. It will be very interesting to see where she takes this story in her next book. Her character building will have you thinking of them and what they themselves might do.

I tried to get through this book but I can’t finish it. It’s just so boring. It started out strong and intriguing but when the main character decided to just hang out in a jungle for several chapters, refusing to fix her amnesia I was done. World building is cool, main character is annoying.

Absolutely fantastic read that had me immersed from the beginning!!! I couldn’t put this book down and now I absolutely cannot wait for book 2!
