Listen to the prequel first, then this story

The prequel Forging Passion is essential to read before this one as this story picks up at the end of that one, and the events of the prequel are important for this story. I'm not sure I would have liked it as much had I not started with the prequel. The prequel illustrated what drew Cara and Wes together.

I listened to the audiobook and Janine Granda and Bryant Walker did a great job narrating Cara and Wes. They were the same narrators for the prequel and I appreciated that it was consistent. I would listen to both of them again.

I’m so glad I read this book! It was so good! Wes is Thatcher and Emma’s son and he does not disappoint. I absolutely adored Cara she was just so caring and sweet. This story was perfectly hot and sweet and it kept my interest the whole time. Lainey did such a good job on this one! If you love spicy second chances with a hero who loves his woman then this book is for you!
