This should be labeled as an extended sample. It’s a slow dragged out story set up/prologue to force one to buy the next books in the series.

Read this one for free, and I ended up buying the other two in the series because I loved the couple so much. Both of the characters are so sweet and they have great chemistry. I also really liked the whole team and friend group and the main characters’ separate friendships if that’s something you enjoy in a book. Lately I haven’t liked many romance books because a lot of authors make the characters do toxic or cruel things just to create conflict in the plot, so I really appreciated that conflict in this series was always external things that these two worked through together and always treated each other with respect and support. I’m not usually into the sports setup, but this one was super heartwarming :)

Get the teaser for free. Pay for the end. It has a cliffhanger. The free part was not bad.

Ugh! Wish I’d known it would end in a cliffhanger! I got completely sucked in to Miles & Brookes story! Loved every word….until it stopped 💁🏻‍♀️

Not great in terms of what you pay for. I’ve read plenty of series but I feel like most series have some kind of wrap up at the end of the book. Kinda just feels like a book that was chopped up in pieces to make more money…..
