Cirrus Handbook of Aeronautical Knowledge

Content is great, high production value, it’s the PHAK modified for Cirrus aircraft w/ helpful tips.

It’s not perfect though, issues include:
- Cannot add notes
- Doesn’t support highlighting
- Cannot easily select text in order copy and paste into another note taking / flash card app
- Search is essentially nonexistent. I often have to find material in the PHAK since this format doesn’t always find correct match (largely due to formatting, this makes it very tough to use)
- It’s essentially a PDF

If all you do is read without needing to take notes then this is great. However, know that it’s difficult to use for common Apple Books note taking features.

This would be 5-stars if updated for in native Apple Books format.

Cirrus publications team, please update this to be in native Apple Books format to allow Cirrus Approach pilot students to use this properly for notes, highlights, Apple Pencil support and more.
