Teeny Weenie Learns to Fly

The 'Weenies of the Wood' are a family of tiny people who live in a wood. Their homes are in the tree trunks, and they see, hear, and experience exciting and interesting things in the wood. All sorts of things happen to the Weenies of the wood. They forage, work and play in the wood; they observe the plants and creatures that live around them; they have exciting and fantastic adventures! 

In this story, Teeny Weenie wants to be just like her best friend, Jenny Wren. But how can she learn to fly like Jenny? In this story, Teeny and Jenny try to make wings so that Teeny can fly. But they learn how hard it is to change the way we are on the outside, and that God's design is always best.

Suitable for young children aged 2 to 7, this is a simple explanation of why what we are on the inside is more important than what we look like on the outside, and about how each of us has our own role in God's plan. With so much focus on physical appearance and identity, this story emphasises the fact that God made each of us unique, for a special purpose, and that each one of us is planned and loved by Him.
