Not typical Nora Roberts. Fail fail.

Only the beginning was her writing and a quarter way in was written by someone else. There’s a difference. Nora Roberts’ writing is brilliant. Whoever wrote the last 3/4 of this book was nowhere at Nora Robert’s league. I’ve pretty much read all of her books. She’s brilliant. This book was a fail fail.
Not great.

Repetitive. Boring. Not worth a read, sadly. I’ve enjoyed other Roberts books but this one is really not good.

Great read, as usual with Nora Roberts! Wonderful storyline, believable characters, and well researched.
Nora paints beautiful pictures with words and poetry with prose. I appreciate the strong women in her books and the men who can be tender without losing their masculinity.

I usually love Nora Robert’s, but this book started off slow and did not get my attention. The chapter endings skipped and duplicated in the Apple book app so I gave up.

Fast moving and keeps your attention.

Excellent explanation of how wines are made. I did not care for the story line or the ending.
By far my favorite story.

This is by far my favorite Nora book. I just finished reading it on our 5 week long honeymoon in Italy. It’s the 4th time reading it. She combines what I love best about her books, romance, family ties & suspense. You can feel the love in her words. She makes you also feel like you are actually in the places she is writing about which is why I read it again while in Italy. Do yourself a favor & read it at least once.

The Villa

I have been a Nora Roberts fan for a long long time I started reading her in my late 20s and I’m now in my 60s. And I have no problem whatsoever reading and rereading my favorite stories my poor paperbacks some of the pages are loose LOL
But that’s OK I just wrap a big rubber band around them and hold them together I love my books
I have most of her books in paperback a few hardbound one of my favorites is the Villa right now most of my paperback books are packed away but I decided instead of digging them out I will download my favorites onto my phone I’m more Familiar with the older titles as I got out of reading there for several years but I have many that are my favorites there’s just something about romance, murder, mystery that really helps a girl when she needs a time out
Right now during the COVID-19 pandemic and we are faithfully following stay at home orders here in our state I live in Idaho I just cannot watch The latest on my favorite national news channels anymore and I can only handle so many movies even though I am into comedy and romance and I love to crochet I made 20 afghans last year so I could give them all for Christmas presents in 2019
I decided that for me,today at least
I needed to find a quiet place, turn the TV off and enjoy one of my favorite books the Villa.
As my family’s business is farming We raise sweet corn, hay,and wheat and have a few beef cattle
but my husband and grown boys all work construction as well
I can relate to the Care and upkeep of the vines and the love they have for the earth and I also watch the seasons change from planting to winter to spring, summer and fall the birds coming and going
I love how she words it about the vines and the seasons that pass.
I just love it when my husband cut our hay 3 times a summer there is nothing sweeter than the smell of fresh cut alfalfa hay in the summer air
I have several of Ms Roberts books on my phone and now I’m going to start Carolina moon and then maybe go into Montana Sky.
Ms. Roberts thank you so much I have always considered you a national treasure.
The Obsession

I have been a Nora Roberts fan for many years and The Obsession is by far the best book of hers I have read! It kept my attention from the first page and as soon as I read the last page, I started it again! This would make a great movie!!
