The Way of the Warrior

When Jimmu was ten years old, his father woke him in the middle of the night to explain that he had brought shame to the family. He then committed seppuku, a form of suicide.

Jimmu is left in the care of his father’s most trusted samurai swordsman, Nichiren, who explains that the charges that brought shame to his family were false.
