This book is highly superficial. The characters have no depth, the plot is far too repetitive throughout the series, and it is just generally poorly written. I was extremely disappointed, this book seems to glorify stereotypes and promote hierarchies and bullying amongst girls. It paints tween and teen girls in a terrible light. Just plain awful.

Omg I love this series soooooo much! It is the best series I have ever read! I read the books over and over and over! I love the fashion, drama, and secrets! The Clique is the best series EVER!!!!! I HIGHLY reccomend getting the series! I would say, it is for ages 11 and up!

I loved this book! Thought it may seem shallow according to the back of the book, it's amazing. I would say 12+ because of some of the content. But loved it anyway!!

I first read the books last year and fell in love with them. A lot of people say they're for middle schoolers, but I'm a high-schooler and I still love them. They're great for mother-daughter book clubs :)
