    Really enjoyed the overall story and world building, definitely could have been a great book series. However the author’s writing style isn’t good in my opinion. He spends so many pages describing the most inane things that just turn into confusing run on sentences. Feels like he was trying to meet a word count and opened a thesaurus and just started blabbing. He also just cannot write women without going into great detail about their bodies. Reads like a YA novel or edgy watered down smut. Book one was able to tie the story together at the end into something worth trudging through all the issues described above but I don’t think I can do it a second time.

    this book has one of the best endings that i have ever read. i literally screamed and scared my wife when certain things happened. i am writing this review and as soon as i am done, i will start on book 3. this is just wow, there is so much. love, comedy, gore, taboo subjects, and all so very well blended. nothing was overdone and you can tell the author was not in this for the "shock" factor, just a great story. O-mazing
