The two sisters, born from a family of European pioneers, have the same DNA and family upbringing, but end up taking very different paths in life. It covers the family's early life in Prussia, followed by a difficult and treacherous journey to settle in the Darling Downs, Queensland Australia and the many adventures that follow. From the old world to the new, accompanied by all the hopes, dreams and hardships that you would expect from inspired Australian pioneers and their many descendants.
This third book in the series covers roughly 150 years, from the late 19th century to the modern day. The first and second books covered the previous 350 years. The writings are well-referenced and further supported by various illustrations, maps and a family tree.
