Brenna James is the one. The one I can’t have. The one I can’t get out of my mind. Believe me, I’ve tried; the woman loathes me. I managed well enough—until I heard her say she’s as lonely as I am. That she needed to be touched, held, satisfied. And I could no longer deny the truth: I wanted to be the one to give her what she craved. 

I convinced her that it would just be physical, mutual satisfaction with nothing deeper. But the moment I have her, she becomes my world. I’ve never given her a good reason to trust me before. Now, I’ve got to show Brenna that we’re so much better together than we ever were apart. 

Things are going to get messy. But getting messy with Brenna is what I do best.

    Feels like I’ve been waiting forever for these two to finally get together. They are so cute together. I loved the whole book. Great series. Now we need WHIP’S BOOK SO BAD to complete this fantasy. I’m literally in love with these characters. And I’m chomping at the bits for the next one. Well done Kristen, well done.👏🏻❤️🫶🏼

    This was the longest trip to a hook up. Just because you can write 5000 page story does not mean you should.

    Reading this story was exhausting.

    Totally love, the VIP series.
    Brenna and Rye have had a hate, hate relationship for a decade. Or has it been?
    Although he’s joined in with the bickering it was deeper for Brenna, to him it was just giving each other a hard time
    When Rye over hears Brenna wanting a pseudo relationship he offers to help
    Rye is absolutely the best and really Brenna didn’t deserve him. But he wants her. They eventually become a lot more to each other than expected
    I did enjoy their journey
    Hopefully I won’t have to wait three years for Whips book.
    I feel he has a good story coming

    I have been waiting forever it seems to read Brenna & Rye’s story and this did no disappoint. Their story is steamy, funny, HOT, & beautiful. It’s ashamed they’re make believe. These two were my favorite from the start of this series, I hope to read more of their love story intertwined in Whip’s book (or maybe a short novella all by itself. Hint hint)

    I have enjoyed reading Kristen Callahan for years and though I have seen a storyline decline in this series, I didn’t anticipate to be unable to get past the fourth chapter. To be clear, it was not the overt and sometimes cringeworthy sexual thoughts/discussions/acts. The problem is that there are no characters, just vaginas and penises walking and talking and making idiotic decisions that we are supposed to believe will eventually turn into a healthy relationship.
    I know it says Kristen Callihan wrote it, but I just don’t recognize her in these pages.

    Gaaahh this was my favorite story of the series. I read it too fast….I wanted it to go on and on. So incredibly real and sweet. The story was believable and I feel like I know these people. I’ve waited through 3 books to get to Rye and Bren’s story. It was worth the wait!

    Exposed by Kristen Callihan is a frenemies to lovers romance that was angsty and steamy. I want to start by saying I enjoyed this story very much, however, when I first started this book, I felt as if I was jumping into the middle of a story. But that is on me. I knew this was a part of a series and when I signed up for the book, it said it would be better enjoyed if all books were read in order. However, after the first two chapters or so, it was better. The author does a great job of explaining the character dynamics and I was able to dive in.

    Rye and Brenna have been like vinegar and water for so long, they do know how to function any other way. But under all that, there is a steamy chemistry and strong connection between them. The want and desire has always been there, just under the surface. But they are never meant to be, right? Then Rye overhears something he cannot not ignore. Does not want to ignore. Sex is all it will be, so nothing can go wrong.

    Rye is the fun easygoing guy. He is there when you need him. Brenna is determined, smart and sexy. But is also always wound up. Can they keep this light and enjoy it until it has run its course? Exposed by Kristen Callihan was sexy, steamy and full of angst. I enjoyed reading it and have added the rest of the series to my TBR list.
