The Birthright Series Collection Books 1-3

If you are looking for a new series look no further this is what you have been searching for. This book collection combines the first 3 books in the birthright. If you are a fan of dystopian fantasy, you are right were you want to be. And I considered my headline for a while but I had to think of the Hunger Games and the fierceness with which Katniss was displayed. Bridget E Baker created a world where we not just have one Katniss but 2 and they are twins and strong female leads. Chancery is Evian - and no not the water - she is a person that has pure DNA without given away to much just imagine people coming directly from Adam and Eve. Chancery is the older of the twins and by birthright only the youngest twin can take over the throne. And Chancery is fine with it, she likes the way her life is but there are some things she would wish for. This guy she likes he doesn't seem to notice her but he notices Judica her younger by 2 minutes twin sister and he is dating her instead. And how could he not Judica will be taken over as the next heir. In book one an unexpected twist happens when all of a sudden Chancery is supposed to take over as heir. She isn't prepared for that role and doesn't want it but you don't always get what you want. Chancery is a strong young woman who knows what she wants and ruling isn't it. Her sister Judica on the other side also strong but feisty is fighting her every step of the way which makes her the bad girl in the story. This typical display of power between the characters is written in a way that doesn't let you put down the book. I personally couldn't wait to see what was happening next and I wasn't disappointed. In book two we learn the story from Judica's perspective and life changes a bit. Yes, she is still strong and feisty but you see she cares and is lovable. Chancery is all of a sudden being turned in her eyes into the bad girl. This gives just a true life feeling there are always two sides to every story. Bridget E Baker captures this wonderfully in her writing. Book two introduces new twists and turns so you don't feel like I already know all this from book 1. Again, I endured some sleepless nights because the saying I am just going to finish this chapter turned into just one more. In book three we are back to the perspective of Chancery and are learning a whole lot more about what it means to be heir and what is expected to her. Remember that guy that Chancery likes but who is kind of dating her twin sister he is back and he is not alone another guy is entering the story and gets a very intriguing love triangle started. This book does not disappoint and keeps the storyline moving while giving the characters more depth.

If you love gripping stories with twists and turns and a little bit of superhuman awesomeness-- then this series is for you! Each book has its own fast-paced story, sure to leave you hungry for more!

Two sisters pitted against each other. This was my first series with Bridget Baker. To say I was hooked is an understatement. Every series I read is exceptional. If you want good, clean reading that you can enjoy the story and even let your kids read along. This is it. You’ll be hooked too and downloading all her series.

It’s an intriguing idea: humans don’t run the world. Who does? You’ll have to read to find out! These books are hard to put down, so it’s great that you get the first three at once!

Loved it! Action, intrigue, a little romance on the side! This story has everything! It take family drama to a whole new level!

This series will hold you prisoner until you finish reading it. 😂. You most definitely get sucked into this world and you won’t stop thinking about it until you finish the series.

Loved these books! Couldn’t put them down and read the whole series in less than a month. I love how Bridget develops the characters throughout the series, leaving out enough information about each character in the beginning to completely surprise you later on.

With several strong female characters, swords, hot guys, metamorphism and book boyfriend worthy male characters. You wont be disappointed with this unique take kn super humans. There is also a love triangle that you cannot resist. Even in the end I don’t know if im team Noah or team Edam! A NICE REFRESHING NOTE IS THAT ALL BRIDGETS BOOKS ARE CLEAN. No need to sensor the audio books for young ears or worry about your tween picking up and flipping to an age inappropriate page

Crazy concept, but take a dive into this read about the evian race. Compared to peon humans, evians are better at everything. They are smarter, faster, more beautiful (there are some pretty hunky romantic interests in the evian world, too), better hearing, and never get sick. They can repair their injuries, even a literal knife to the heart. There are plenty of those in this series. The evians divided themselves into regions, with each empress ruling over several countries, directing everything in the human world from politics to trade to agriculture. In these queendoms, the females are the strong rulers. Chancery and Judica are the teenage youngest daughters of empress Enora and the first book is about the events leading up to the transition of power from Chancery’s view. The second book retells some of the same events, but also explains some past actions and continuing the story forward, from Judica’s view. The third book switches back and you learn how Chancery feels about her sisters, how she grows into her unwanted role of empress, and the healing of the rift between the twins. Turns out they might both be kind and loyal souls. The teenage queen also has more than her share of suitors you will have a hard time choosing between. She’s not so great at choosing either! You are going to want to read the whole series, so save yourself the time having to go back and buy the next one by getting this box set off the bat.

This is one of my favorite series, and it definitely tops the list for favorite urban fantasy series. The world building is great, and the story is unique. The pacing throughout all the books is well done. Chancery is an easy character to like, and her character development throughout is done well. Judica’s character may not seem likable at first, but she also shows tremendous growth throughout the series. I think the love triangle in the series is done well. If you like super humans, action, and some romance—you will love these books.
