Professor Barbara Moore teaches a course entitled “History 369 - Injustice to Women through the Ages” at Dorsbury College. But she does more than teach about the injustices inflicted on women in the past. No, when the state she lives in adopts judicial corporal punishment for women, she feels compelled to protest by chaining herself to the door of Judge Martin “Maximum Marty” Powers’ courtroom, earning herself a trip to Female Corporal Punishment Center Number 3 for a judicial caning of eighteen strokes. When she reports there as ordered, she finds that she has an audience, including one of her colleagues from the college, along with a film crew.
