First, Dear Writer, no matter which anatomy book you consult, regardless even the century in which it originated, you will find no body part named “opening.” Or “folds.” What are you, twelve?

Second, there are innumerable instances of misspellings, incorrect usage, punctuation issues, apostrophe abuse … have I missed anything?

My advice to you, Dear Writer, is to 1) acquire at least 1 dictionary, keep it close to your work area, and use it to ensure that words really do mean what you think they do (they probably don’t, in fact); 2) acquire, and learn how to use, a thesaurus; 3) hire, and pay, an experienced and competent proofreader - and then take her advice; and 4) hire, and pay, an experienced and competent editor (who may even have a proofreader in tow!) and, again take his advice. Seriously. It is an unfortunate fact of life that the writer who attempts to proof and edit her or his own work, like the attorney who defends himself, has a fool for a client. Don’t do it!

As for the story, it’s not as bad as your Technical grade, which is why there are 3 stars for this review. In fact, I have read the series up to this point, and I’m debating whether the (flawed, technically) stories are worth the price, but it’s not looking likely right now.

Morgan James: on page 854 you wrote He tried to get me to sleep. Each time I tried I saw her big blue eyes. Alexia had gray eyes. Just saying.
Other than that I loved the storyline. Great book!!!

Very emotional book. Has a lot going on throughout it. A lot of twists and turns. A nail biter for sure. The best part of the book is that their relationship actually starts at the beginning of the book instead of towards the middle like it does with a lot of books. Lydia and Xander have a rocky relationship but they get their HEA IN THE END.
