I never read these type of books but I picked it up as a lark and before I was half way through I was hooked . Mel and Jack have the type of love for one another that I am sure every married couple wish they had

The best book I’ve ever read, and a even better tv show, even tho the book is a lot more in detail the the show, I absolutely loved them both!!! I highly recommend this series, and don’t forgot to go watch the tv show on Netflix!

I’ve read other books by this author & I’ve liked them all. Though I have not seen the tv series based on this series of books, I wish I had been able to. Very good story line. Characters are well drawn & feel like people you’d like to know. I dropped 1 star because of several pretty explicit sexual encounters that could have left more to the imagination.

It wasn’t until after I watched the first two seasons on Netflix that I realized the series was based off this book series. Once again the statement continues to be true, “the book is always better than the movie” I tend to not like it when the movie doesn’t follow the book events but, in this case, I was not at all disappointed!
