    This is my first time reading a Joyce Meyers book, although I’ve known a lot about her.

    Healing the Soul of a Woman was referred to me & when I first started reading it, I thought, “oh no. Another book cramming a ton of spiritual scriptures at me 🙄.”

    I’m not a religious person but I know Joyce was going to bring the Bible into it. The scriptures weren’t bad additions but I was expecting a story. Although Joyce did share some of her healing and of others, I felt like the book was missing more of those lessons.

    For me when reading, I enjoy the art of storytelling. One lesson or story leading to another but it seemed like there were topics she wanted to address but no thorough story to
    Use to fully capture me as a reader.

    Especially the last chapter. I wasn’t expecting it to close so suddenly with the suggestion of reading the Bible.

    This book helped me open my mind up to see what battles I was fighting internally and how the love of Christ can get me through them. Joyce is transparent and honest, and thoroughly walks you through all the aspects a wounded soul can affect. I will be referencing this book until the day I am fully healed. Definitely recommend to other people women who are struggle with themselves!

    I am a Joyce Meyer fan and have all her books!!! I tend to buy everyone in need of spiritual healing The Battlefield of the Mind book but THIS book is unbelievable and a must read to follow up Battlefield of the Mind. I’m half way through the book and have already got a few copies for friends suffering from difficulties in overcoming bad circumstances.
