This book is one that was hard to put down. All the emotions, family drama, & Love. The way the main characters interacted with each other. So giving in their longing to build companies that helped so many that has substance abuse as their worst enemy. The many they helped. In both companies. ( painting and construction). Very good read. TY

The book was alright, the premise was good, but it took way too long to get the characters to the primary conflict and then just ended abruptly with no wrap-up or anything. Not even a complete book.

I like the idea and the background of the story. I like the detail. It’s well written. However, the blindness of the male character to the very clear signs until, conveniently, the end of the book where there’s a cliff hangggerrr...ruined it for me. Not because there’s a cliff hanger, but because it was just smashed on to the end of the book so quickly. Honestly, it would be better if it had happened before the end, and the ending was a limbo between that “climax” and the following book.
