Instead of a wedding, Esther is facing radical surgery and chemotherapy. Where is God when she needs him most?

Esther is a people pleaser. It's never been a major problem because she's just gone with the flow. Her father has always preached,  "Follow Jesus and you'll be blessed." Esther has never had any reason to doubt it but now she has breast cancer. Will she appease her father or will she listen to the words of a stranger who challenges everything she believes?

Grace in Strange Disguise is a soul-stirring contemporary Christian novel. Book 1 in the Grace series.

If you like compelling Christian fiction, relatable characters, and real emotion, then you'll love Christine Dillon's inspiring series.

It was so beautiful! I cried, thought about my own life choices and took a page out of this book to model. Thank God for His Grace, even if it is in disguise :)

Wow! What a great story on witnessing to others! The story of Esther and her struggle with her faith and overbearing father will have you cheering for her to not give up. God sends her some unexpected help through many people who nudge her in the right direction, but also to help others as well. Highly recommend!

What a pleasure to sit down with this book and find such rich and engaging evangelism and encouragement and HOPE within its pages! Please read this book if you have half the chance… as for me, I’m off to buy the rest of the series!

I loved it, and I ordered Christine’s “ how to” book online. Our church has an outreach to share Christ with men and women in assisted living communities.

This book is a must read for everyone with questions about Jesus and Faith. It really gets to the heart of the issue in a interesting and compelling way. I would love to be able to follow Esther’s life in another book.

I was interested in this title when it was offered on Bookbub. Little did I know how much I enjoyed the story. A daughter of a well known pastor becomes engaged. Life seems to be going great until a medical diagnosis changes her life. Along the way her belief in God is shattered when her prayers for healing go unanswered. This is a great book for those who ask “Why God, did my prayers go unanswered?”

Absolutely loved reading the book! Storyline deals with a cancer patient and how she is viewed by her minister father and members of her church. Joy was one of my favorite characters as she brought biblical truths to light that was so easy to understand. Through Joy, Esther was able to understand the biblical truth that we can have everlasting life through Jesus Christ who died on the cross for our sins. Praise God for the sacrifice of His Son that we may live in eternity. Read the book and feel blessed!
