Description

Artificial Condition is the follow-up to Martha Wells's Hugo, Nebula, Alex, and Locus Award-winning, New York Times and USA Today bestselling All Systems Red.

The "I love Murderbot!" —New York Times bestselling author Ann Leckie

It has a dark past—one in which a number of humans were killed. A past that caused it to christen itself “Murderbot”. But it has only vague memories of the massacre that spawned that title, and it wants to know more.

Teaming up with a Research Transport vessel named ART (you don’t want to know what the “A” stands for), Murderbot heads to the mining facility where it went rogue.

What it discovers will forever change the way it thinks…

  • Better than the first

Fewer plot holes, with good pacing .
  • Still loving the series

I love ART and hope to see more of it. And more of murderbots’ adventures.
  • Overpriced book splitting

Loved the book but 12 dollars for that size of an ebook is insane. Clearly a ripoff off and breaking up the story to scam people for money. The entire series should be 2 or three books at most

Continuation, second installment and another very short read. I don’t mind the length - gets to the point…
  • Too expensive

Great storybut way too short for the expense. I was surprised by this one but won't pay $11.99 for 160 pages again
  • Great “F you” fella to follow

I love this guy from start to finish just by following he viewpoint.
  • Too short, no depth

This isn’t a book, it’s a novella. The first 3-5 books should be sold as one.
  • What is it like to be not human?

    5
    By Pony14
The book does a remarkable job prying into that impossible question. I have never read such a character. I am 97% sure you will love this book. Read it.
  • Soulful Synths

Murderbot, like some of the greatest portrayals of synthetic or digital intelligence, is often more human than humans. There is profound empathy and compassion in these pages, and so much joyful humor. Stakes? Yes. Worth every one of them? Also yes. This is wonderful warm sci-fi that reminds you there are reasons to hope!
  • Sci-Fi Jack Reacher

Just as page turningly satisfying as one of the Reacher books.
