First of all let me say that I love this series, but I was left a little disappointed with the last book in the series. 😕

I will try not to spoil it for anyone else, but... I am not a fan of how the series ended. I felt like all storyline closures were rushed, like the author was saying I have to cram everything in because I have run out of time and I have no choice but to end with this book. I didn’t feel like this book was the conclusion and I am hoping that there is a spin off series for major cliffhanger and all the left open ended storylines.

I put off reading this book because I did not want the series to end! Awesome excellent book! Charley and Reyes have gone through so much and what happens in this book is unbelievable! You will need Kleenex as this book will wring some tears from you.
Action, romance, and humor are present and make the story interesting. I give this book and series endless stars!!!!!! Plot twists and surprises will shake you up. Love , family and friends are very important to Charley and Reyes and you will learn about the past and the future is mentioned. The ending of the story will definitely be a surprise and the final twist to the plot.
Read and enjoy this book which I highly recommend!

First I want to say that I love this series and that’s why it hurts to say that his book was so disappointing. My main issue was the how the author ends this book. All the details and storylines sh did decide to close happened within the last 2-3 chapters. I felt to me that she was saying I’m running out of time so here’s everything all at once. But I should mention that a lot of the characters and storylines were left open ended (I know she’s probably going to continue the story in a different series), so this book is hardly a conclusion. Hands down the most maddening part about this book was the actually ending, I mean in the last few pages, I don’t want to say too much and spoil it but I still can’t wrap my head around how that was the way it was suppose to end. And after being upset about that ending this book tops itself and ends on a cliffhanger! I honestly wish I hadn’t read this book I loved this series so much and now all I remember is the horribly disappointing way it ended.

Summoned to Thirteenth Grave is the conclusion to the Charley Davidson series but likely not the end of the world Darynda Jones created. Many loose ends were tied up in this edition but many more await for the new series. I want to know where Osh is & what role Nathaniel will play!! This story was fun, entertaining, sensual, & heart breaking. I laughed and cried.
An Epic Finale!

The final Charley Davidson story is EPIC! Charley and her crew have to fight an epic battle to save humankind. I was entertained with epic snarkiness from my favorite grim reaper. I swooned over the epic love between Charley and Reyes that is tested to its limits. I felt every emotion! Who knew Charley Davidson could reduce me to tears?
The story brings the closure I wanted to many of the themes that I followed throughout the series. What an Epic ending to this wonderful series...And that ENDING! OMG!!

It is hard to review this book without a spoiler. I knew going into this, it was the last of this series. The signature snark and steam are there, along with the regular workings of serial killers, legacy evil and of course the end of the world, all typical of a Charley book. However, this is the last, so there are a few twists and turns that are unexpected, but the end is ..... well, you will just have to read the book to find out. Charley, your snark, humor and idioms will be missed.

What an incredible Finale. This is seriously one of the best series I have read to date. If I had to describe it in a few words... It was Epic!! Brilliant!! Fun and Entertaining!!

It has everything I love from the humor, the fun side characters, the suspense, and most of all, the ultimate love story between Charley and Reyes. The first few books was slow to bring us that love story but once it did, it was truly beautiful. These two are one of my favorite couples.

There were some very, sad moments but I am happy with how this concluded. I do feel there may be more to come. Maybe in a spin-off of the series? I really hope that is what the author has planned. She has a devoted reader in me after this series and that means I will always ask for more.

I can honestly say that I could read about these characters forever. I've enjoyed each and every book and will be re-reading this series again and again.
