It went at a nice pace. Just the right amount of scary elements and suspense. Wrapped pleasantly in a fog of mystery. I appreciated that it wasn’t too scary. It even had some unexpected romance. All in all. A very enjoyable read. Also I’m rooting for this Zak character!

I rarely stop reading a book, but this was an exception. I don’t like constantly angry characters and Tiff was perpetually angry or annoyed, and I was never sure why or if it was justified anger. It got very old by about page 175, so I just stopped reading.
