As always, i loved everything about this book. It surprised me in the best of ways. I thought this book was going to be about an angsty "Sorrow" being all depressed and moody. I was so so so happy when i started and saw that she'd passed that phase in her life and was becoming Holly again. I should've known because Nalini Singh writes such strong and amazing characters. I loved how how strong Holly is and how perfectly she matched Venom. He's one of the seven I knew the least about and i'm so glad he got a story. His past was sad and the rejection he faced shaped him into the man he is today. I loved when he opened up to Holly and they really got to know each other. I really felt their connection throughout the book. I really enjoyed the mystery throughout the book and the connection between Holly, Uram and Michaela. And the little seen with Illium was great! Loved that this book takes place during the same time frame as Archangel's Heart. I liked the part where Illium is upset he let Adohan leave without saying goodbye. Can't wait for the next book!

This book had me hooked from the beginning. I love the angels and vampires world and all of the characters. Some series start to lose interest after a while but, not this series!! I love every book!

Nalini Singh just gets better and better. This was an amazing addition to the series. I know that Archangels, angels, and vampires sounds crazy but this is a great adventure for those of us who love paranormal.
