Following the dedication and determination of of Bakkan Sheriff’s office Chief Inspector Cassie Dewell as she hunts for an exceptionally clever serial killer will make you forget all your “I need to’s.” Dinner will be late and sleep will be pushed away until you can’t keep your eyes open. Fascinating characters and taught tension will grab you in the very first pages. Worth every minute of last sleep!

I have read about 10 Box books. He has written about 3 different stories in this. Not any one is worth reading. Box should be ashamed of himself for this endeavor ! He never was great but this was an abomination.

Dialogue that reads like a high school student wrote it... a real torture to stick with it. I've enjoyed most C.J Box books, but this one seems like it was ghost written by an inexperienced writer.

Great book. Could not put it down. Love the setting of Montana and Yellowstone. I have enjoyed all the books in the Joe Pickett series and the 2 other books from this series. Highly recommend for anyone who likes the West and a story about a chase for justice.
