One man. One woman. Two dogs.

Meet Molly—New York's most famous advice columnist, she considers herself an expert at relationships…as long as they're other people's. Still bruised from her last breakup, Molly is in no rush to find happily-ever-after—the only love of her life is her dalmatian, Valentine.

Meet Daniel—A cynical divorce lawyer, he's hardwired to think relationships are a bad idea. If you don't get involved, no one can get hurt. Until he finds himself borrowing a dog to meet the gorgeous woman he sees running in Central Park every morning…

What a fun, flirty, and romantic read. Molly and Daniel both think they can't do relationships, that they are not capable of falling in love. I was charmed by Daniel from the get go with his flirtatious and outrageous comments, but he is also sweet, caring and loyal. Molly is cautious, but Daniel worms his way past her walls. There is a lot of humor and funny situations throughout the story as one misunderstanding after another happens. As their friendship/relationship grows, they both discover things about themselves and change for the better. Looking forward to the upcoming books in the series.

Sarah Morgan takes us back to New York in her latest, New York, Actually. For those of us that fell in love with the From Manhattan with Love series last year this is a welcome arrival. Though I don’t remember meeting Daniel, brother to Fliss and Harry our favorite dog walkers, in the first books, I found his story to fit perfectly into the larger continuity. Getting to see more of Fliss and Harry was fun, too, not to mention a few Eva and Lucas glimpses along the way.

At its heart, this story is about learning to let go and trust those around you. Molly and Daniel are the perfect pair to bring that message to light. Both have well-defined hurts that keep them from fully letting go.

The addition of dogs only makes this novel that much more fun. If I weren’t already hooked on this series this installment would have sealed the deal.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this novel.
