Disguised as a boy, she signs onto a merchant ship and embarks on a dangerous mission to find and rescue him. New friends aid her on her journey as she faces attacks at sea, danger in Caribbean back alleys, the navy press gang and more, until she comes face to face with the pirate captain on a cliff overlooking the ocean. At the end of her quest she discovers – herself.
