Risk is a stand-alone novel and does not require reading the Mageri books to enjoy. However, because it is a spinoff of the Mageri series, it will contain spoilers. If you are interested in reading the Mageri series first, there are only five in the completed series. Enjoy!

    Simon was my favorite character as I read through the Mageri series. He stole every 'scene' he was in. I loved that cheeky attitude and a whole book about him was a real treat! I thoroughly enjoyed this book!

    The series is an excellent to read. The character base expanding to include more in depth of individuals is well written. I like that Simon and now Ella fit so well with Levi, Logan, Silver and Novi, Justus and others. The story is interesting and keeps you entertained with the mystery as well as the banter/fun. Start with the beginning of the series because this book can be read alone but the previous books give you lots of more information to flesh out the rest of the characters in the book.

    It was wonderful for Simon to get his own story. I loved it. I have read all of Danika's books and this is a great addition. It seems like there will be more to the Mageri series and I do hope. silver and Logan and the phone call. Superb read. Thank you , Dannika.

    I absolutely loved this book. Simon is one of my favorite characters. The story gives you a look into Simons past. It also gives you a better understanding of other characters. Risk is full of action, humor and defines various relationships. I'm not very good at writing reviews, partly because I don't want to make any spoilers. All I can say is that I honestly believe if you give it a try you'll be hooked on the first page. I'll definitely read it again. You should also check out the Mageri series.
