I liked the plot, but was left largely dissatisfied. The writing and dialogue felt so cliche and immature that I couldn’t really connect to the story. Both characters were spilling out all their issues in the first chapter! I understand that the author was setting the scene but it was too much too fast.

Also, the switches in perspectives from one paragraph to the next was weird.
