Almost gave up, but glad I finished it…. Some demons that I didn’t see much resolution of, but it was a nice ending

So beautifully written. So painful, hopeful and romantic. Loved every minute.

A beautifully written love story, rooted for them the whole time. Much of how this was written is evident that the author truly felt for her characters behind their twist and turns in this powerful and seemingly-poetically sentenced book.

Thank you so much Yulin Kuang, for crafting such a witty and engaging book with characters I instantly adored. I have been seeking captivating reads for the summer, and this one has certainly left a lasting impression. I cannot wait to read more of her works in the future.

The beginning was intriguing. The ending was predictable and nice. I think the author didn’t know what to do with the middle and resorted to graphic sex. It was disgusting and not necessary. It wrecked the book for me.
